ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Lauren.
I'm pursuing a career in UX, combining my education, work experience, and interest in design. My educational and work background have centered around creating empathy-focused, research-based, design-centered programs and materials. I have a user-focused mentality, passion for helping others, and design knowledge.
I'm a dog walking, plant collecting, library book reading, lego building, coffee drinking, recipe making,
empathetic problem solver.
My Path to UX

Studied Child and Family Development. Go Dawgs!
Received Masters in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Family Life and Parent Education.

Worked in Public Health helping families get local services, encouraging caregivers to obtain preventative medical care for their children.
Worked for Early/Head Start as Health Manager, ensuring kids were up to date on medical requirements. Provided education and training to staff and parents.

Designed market research powerpoint presentations.

Continuing to learn, practice, and read about UX, accessibility, and graphic design.
